There are two separate services that you need for a functioning web site - a domain and a web hosting plan for it. When you type the Internet domain in your Internet browser, you see the content that is uploaded inside the website hosting account, but if that domain address isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it's parked. To put it differently, the domain name is registered and you're its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it may be forwarded to any other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and make sure that no one else will take it. In the meantime, it won't block a slot for a hosted domain address within your account. In addition, you can park domain names if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain names with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main site so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Web Hosting

You are going to be able to park as many domains as you wish with any of the web hosting packages we offer. Of course, this feature is available only for domains registered here as the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike many companies, we don't charge anything extra for parking a domain and the process is going to take just a few mouse clicks in your Hepsia CP. We've got a couple of parking templates to choose from where you can add custom text. If you want to host a parked domain address in the future, adding it to your account requires simply a click. Everything necessary for the website to start showing up, such as setting up a domain folder and creating DNS records will be done automatically by us. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to view a full list of the domains you have registered through our company and you’ll be able to set a filter to see just the parked or only the hosted ones.
